Promotion Policies
You can apply for rollback rights and/or administrator/bureaucratic privileges on this noticeboard. In order to qualify for a certain position, you must meet it's prerequisites and then state the position for your applying for and state why you think you need them. In order to get promoted, you must have a greater amount of Yes voted for you. If you get more No then you fail, but can always re-try. Only Staff members may vote and comment.
- Patrollers are given the rollback tool which allows them to quickly revert vandalism rather then undoing them. They are also given Chat Moderator rights so they can kick users who aren't complying with our Chat policies.
- Administrators are also given the rollback tool. They are given the power to block and ban users, protect pages, and delete articles and images.
- Bureaucrats in addition to administrator, are given the right to promote and demote users (Excluding bureaucrats).
In order to qualify for rollback (Patroller) rights, you must have been active on this Wiki for 3 months, with no rule violations or serious blocks. Users who apply within three months of joining could face a three month probationary period if voted. This may also apply in situations such as activity being low, inexperience or users who were previously demoted. At the end of the three months a review will be made by Bureaucrats and Administrators to determine whether or not the user will retain their rights.
In order to qualify for administrator rights, you must have been an active Patroller for 3 months with no rule violations or serious blocks.
In order to qualify for bureaucratic rights, you must have been an active Administrator for 5 months with no rule violations or serious blocks.
Send your request to an active staff member on their message wall. Your request will be listed below "Active Requests". Voting usually will take approximately 3 to 7 days depending on the activity of staff.
